Wat bieden we
- Een kans om je werk te presenteren tijdens
Rotterdam Art Week op 27 maart 2026.
- Een open podium met ruimte voor performances, workshops, video’s en fysieke werken.
- Ondersteuning bij de presentatie en een (beperkt) productiebudget.
- Deelname in een community van lokale kunstenaars en inspiratie-uitwisseling.
Selectie procedure
Samen met een adviescommissie bekijken we alle aanmeldingen zorgvuldig. We selecteren 10 kunstenaars of collectieven, met als doel een diverse en representatieve afspiegeling van kunstenaars en praktijken uit Rotterdam Zuid te laten zien.
Individuen, duo’s en collectieven tellen als één aanvraag.
De selectie wordt rond midden januari 2026 bekendgemaakt.
Geselecteerde deelnemers worden uitgenodigd voor een bijeenkomst om inspiratie op te doen en elkaar te ontmoeten (aanwezigheid is niet verplicht, maar wordt gewaardeerd).

This is your invitation to apply for South Explorer Invites: The Open Call for artists from Rotterdam Zuid! Give others a taste of your practice during Rotterdam Art Week, at Plein (Fenix Museum). Performance, a food workshop, conversation, video, or audio, anything is possible!
What we offer
- An opportunity to present your work during
Rotterdam Art Week on March 27, 2026.
- An open stage with space for performances, workshops, videos, and tangible works.
- Support for your presentation and a (limited) production budget.
- Participation in a community of local artists and exchange of inspiration.
Selection procedure
Together with an advisory committee, we will carefully review all applications. We will select 10 artists or collectives, aiming for
a diverse and representative reflection of artists and practices from Rotterdam Zuid.
Individuals, duos, and collectives count as one application.
The selection will be announced around mid-January 2026.
Selected participants will be invited to a meeting to get inspired and meet each other (attendance is not mandatory but appreciated).
